The Alaska Salmon Runs are part of the Salmon Jam Festival -- a wild week of running, music and singing out salmon! See www.salmonjam.org for a full schedule of events, including Alaska Salmon Run road races, Salmon Jam Music Festival, and Small Fry arts and education activities.

We have five distance events run on the Copper River Highway, which traverses the renowned Copper River delta.  Timed events include the King Salmon Marathon, the Sockeye Half Marathon, the Coho 10K, the Humpy 5K, and the Smolt One Mile Fun Run/Walk. All distances except the Smolt One Mile Fun Run/Walk are point-to-point courses, so runners are driven on a shuttle to the race start, and complete their course at race HQ in town. Our town is at sea level, and the course is fairly flat. For the marathon, the first half of the course is on a dirt road, second half of the course is paved.

On-line registration closes on July 14, 5 p.m.  Except for the marathon, you may register on Saturday, July 16 at Race HQ (CCMC parking lot).

Registration is now closed for this event.
